Steve and the staff have the experience and tools to carry out any job you need doing. Many years of racing between many disciplines on bike or foot provide the knowledge that only experience can offer advice on repairing, maintaining or upgrading your current bike. Steve has recently taken up triathlon so ask him how he’s getting on with that.
The bikes are stored safely on hooks from the roof or in racks on the floor to prevent any damage occurring while in our hands. With a large selection of spare components from many major manufacturers including shimano , sram , hope and everything from Rear derailleur’s & chains to replacement wheels & tires. A large range is held in stock at all times to ensure you are back on the road (or off it) as soon as possible.
A custom bike build service from start to finish is available. From advice & supply of component’ right through to you riding away on the bike of your dreams. The staff have experience to a high level in most fields of cycling through mountain biking, track cycling, time trialing and can provide advice based on their experiences.
A custom wheel build service is also available for almost anything that uses a spoked wheel. With wheels that have been tested with the rigours of the Scottish downhill racing, XC racing, road racing and even long distance touring/Audax`s.
Other items we have built/repaired wheels for in the past have been Wheelchairs/Recumbent cycles , trikes , tandems , racing wheelchairs , motocross bikes , pram wheels – basically if it has spokes , a rim and replacement parts are available we will look at repairing it for you. Unless otherwise stated/requested all custom wheel builds are done with DT competition double butted spokes for best results.
With equipment, spares and experience to deal with many brands (Hope, Hayes, Shimano, Magura, Tektro to name a few) of hydraulic brakes you can be confident of stopping with our hydraulic brake repair service. From a simple pad replacement to a strip down and rebuild with new seals we have a number of years experience with these systems and can offer advice on maintenance and repair issues on viewing your brakes.
